The gentleman on the Gemvision forum. They are actually two.Are simply distributors of the B9. They claim many things. From what I have read. They rarely change their PDMS,they don't have have any job failure. They casting is always Excellent using only satin investment.

What a beautiful world.

Their claims are definitely pushing it ... I have a B9C 1.2 and it had more than its fair share of problems in the year I ran with it .... PDMS absolutely had to be replaced weekly for me to preserve quality of the prints ... And that sly guard has nasty fumes and I believe it's curing agent is toxic.... Board went ... Build table flexed and wouldn't calibrate in 1 of 4 corners ...x y motor burned ... ... All in all it got the job done but was a struggle ....

As for the resin ... Since I don't cast in house I've resorted to heat curing prints in cherry and them attempting to mold the ones I can rather than casting in B9's Cherry ...

I assume it would be possible to cast reasonably in house ... But outside casting houses aren't gonna bother with all those considerations for me ...

Hoping the new Solus resin is a significant improvement

Barring some issues I've had with CW... And others who I've asked to support and print ... I haven't had any such issues with the Solus

Emil, when printing a lot of models as shown in the video, do you find yourself adding more resin midprint? If so, does the temp of the newly poured resin affect the print? Thanks.

Robin,

Each of those rings is about 1.1ml of resin. So about 24ml of resin total. No need to add resin.

I've had to add resin if starting another large print after a print is finished, and haven't noticed the resin temperature affecting the print. As long as you keep the room temperature about 73c you should be good to go.

The projector nicely warms up the area too ;)

The B9Ceator just released 2 new resins. Now because of the entry of solus and the sharp decline in B9 Sales , They are turning their whole business into Resin distributors. this is what we call a marketing shift.

It's been running for 6-7 hours straight now and you can feel the temp difference when you walk in.. feels like summer all over again lol.

Man, I just got a cherry bottle last week and now they release a better one. The bright side is that I didn't end up spending $200 so I'm ready for the new Solus resin. BTW, I'm expecting a kickass name for it (think TRON-ish)...

Though I guess it shouldn't be too hard right ? the exposure time would be the main thing to change in Ratio right?

79.3601 % of exposure time
