Nice casting. I'm experiencing less flashing on 42xy with the default profile using the SolusCast resin. At 25xy, I get flashing similar to yours when printing flat on the buildplate. At 26mm width, I'm guessing you used 25xy, right?

The lamps on the last 8-9 x Vivitek 1186 projectors we have setup for customers have been REALLY bright. I mean way to bright for use with the default exposure settings in the resin profiles.
We have had to reduce the exposure time @ 25XY @ 30microns DOWN from 2.7 to 2.1 sec in B9 Emerald resin, and some of the base exposures are down to 10-11 sec @ 30microns.

Depending on how "tight" your build platform is calibrated to the quartz/ glass, I recommend adjusting the base exposure down in 1 sec intervals till you find the optimal setting to reduce flashing.

Hmm. Are you sure, Rik? We use them as is and it works great. Are you setting the projector on ECO mode?

Hi Emil. Yeah I hear you. They are definitely set to ECO. There is flashing at 30z @ 2.7 sec, so we test print and adjust downwards in 0.1 sec steps till we get a clean print with no/little excess resin in the vat after printing.
We are on 240v here in Australia, and I have always thought that made a difference over the US. Maybe not :?

Yes. I reduce my new 1186 projector exposure time to 3 seconds From 4.5 in 41 microns and base to 20!!!
