What curing methods and burnout cycle did you use for the SolusCast? Those castings look great!

I cure in a cursing light box. I use a 7 hour burnout, paint my models, plasticast, blow out ash, cast at 1050. centrifugal casting

Bobbie mentioned that he uses this spray to coat the prints for better casting https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Oleum-77018 ... B0010NY95S

I've heard this from many other customers who use it with other resins on the market. It creates a protective coating and also eliminates investment breakdown due to slight shrinking.

Worth giving it a try especially if you have no control over what your caster does.

In the last picture, is the model sprayed with rustoleum?

I believe all of the ones he does are sprayed. The spray creates a micro gap between the print and investment, because the clear coat then melts off and you don't get investment breakdown from the small amount of expansion that can occur.

Try it.

I just tried Rustoleum Clear. Not sure if it helped but am sure it did not make the cast worse.
