Solus Solidscape side by side
Here are casts in 14k white gold of a Solus using the b9 emerald resin print next to a Solidscape print. The Solus is the smoother on the left. Both are printed at 25 microns XYZ. In reality the solidscape actually looks good, that is how much better the Solus is, makes for an easy cleanup.

Based on the finish, how much anti-aliasing do you have configured in CW?
Solidscape must not have any since you can see those discrete step lines on the side of the shank, but the brushed look on the flat surfaces is interesting. Must be the way the printer jets the material during the passes? Or was it printed on its side?

We seriously considered a solidscape, glad we went this route.
On the solus print, what causes the "bullseye" rings on the outside of the prints? You can see one in tbe pic.

That's basically caused by layer stepping and the curvature of the sides of the shank. If you slice thinner, or overexpose a little, you can eliminate them.

Re: Solus Solidscape side by side
so the bullyseye are an indication of underexposure?
my lamp hrs are at ~540, i have turned up exposure 100ms and that helped but i believe i still may need a little more exposure. the surface of the ring seems a little soft after print / pre cure. the rings are not an issue, but i do want proper exposure during print.

I think it is a case of the exposure and focus being dead on that you are seeing the pixel level artifacts from the slicer.
Maybe if you knock the focus out of whack a slight amount, that might smooth it out? Too tough to control that though.
