Here are some B9 cherry castings that I cast this morning for those that were interested. They were all printed on the Solus. You will have to look awfully hard to see any build lines. All of the ladies rings were tilted 20* for printing which really helps nullifying and build lines. The larger mans ring was printed at 45* and the pendent was printed horizontal to the build plate.I also included a pic of a print before casting so you can see the surface. All cast using triumph investment. Mark

Re: Some casting pics
I saw where they locked your thread. It truly seems that there are some that dont want to believe that things can work out great with this printer. Just as I posted my castings some dont wan to believe that you cancget a great cast piece from a resin model. Every time I bring up Phosphate investment it is like the devil in disguise!! Oh well I guess I will post my results here as I know I was looking for a way to get the best results with resin printing and know others want to experience good castings.
Re: Some casting pics
Hi Mark,
Just saw it as well. I think some people are not curious.
5 years ago, paying 35000 dollars for a printer was the rule, as waiting 24 hours for a job.
I did pay huge money for the Envisiontec as well, I was delivered in 2013 in Europe for this model.
But we are 3 years later and there are new, cheaper and very good new printers today; that's a fact.
I still like my micro printer, Magics is excellent, and 3 years experience in 3D printing is a must.
But I will do more and more printing with the Solus...
I don't care which printer company name is better, it's like the eternal dispute between photographers, Canon or Nikon?
But I like the resolution of the Solus
Regards,
André.

Re: Some casting pics
I'm new in printing but I had to do a survey of the market and clearly the machine with the best accuracy and surface quality was the solus.
Nice job.
Nice job.
