Kevin's work

Postby St0rmykev » Thu Apr 14, 2016 6:22 pm

Just finished up a project for a client that turned out pretty cool. Figured I would share the process with everyone. I really enjoy these types of projects. Solitaires and three stone rings just don't do it for me anymore. :D lol

Very nice design. Now to see how quick she comes back saying those little curly cues are catching her clothing.

Here's another fun one that is currently in the works. Boss man gave me a quite a bit of latitude in designing a ring for a 1ct round. No sketches, just started with a round stone in CAD and started building some scrolls and whatever I thought looked good around it. First I'll start off with the CAD pictures, then follow it up with the wax model.

Here's the how the wax turned out. Note this is just a prototype wax so the boss could see how everything looked before moving forward. (Otherwise I wouldn't of put in the milgrain ;-) )
