Detail comparison of the Solus and the Form2

I printed these Loyola championship rings at 25 microns on the Solus and the Form2. I used the castable resin in both printers. Quite a difference in the detail from the Solus on the left and the Form2 on the right. I really couldn't use the Form2 print for this customer. I would have had to send the file off to get printed if it were not for the Solus.

Wow Tom. That's a huge difference. I'm guessing the laser spot of the form2 is not small enough to get into those tight areas.

in all fairness here is my sample. Form2 done by another jeweler.

Looked like some overexposure on the Form2. I assume you could manipulate the timing on the Form2, but if that Solus print was with default parameters for the B9 emerald, that is plug-n-play!
