Yes you can reinstall and it will most likely show you the screen using lower resolution. Then you can install the new driver.
If you know which exact model it is you can download it from the intel website http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ ... ivers.html

Re: Print Failures since Contour 1.4 upgrade
Thanks Emil and Sam, but full RGB is still having no effect. I'm running Intel(R)HD Graphics 4400. I'm using an Asus Notebook X555LA with an Intel(R)Core(TM)i3-4030U cpu @ 1.90 GHz. I've uninstalled the driver and reinstalled it several times. The notebook originally had Win 8 on it.
I even went back to the 8.1 older driver. Still the same thing. I reinstalled the latest driver. I double checked with windows and it is the latest driver. Still with full RBG the build area is being exposed after clicking project black. Even when I start the print the whole build area is being exposed. Other than rebooting and going back to Win 8, I,m out of ideas. Hope you might have some. Thanks again---------Gary

Re: Print Failures since Contour 1.4 upgrade
Did you run the following test?
While looking at the faint projection (on the paper), unplug the HDMI cable from the back of the projector. If the projection intensity becomes even more faint, then the full rgb is not enabled (or not working), if it remains the same intensity, then it's enabled.

This might be a little out there, but have you tried changing your HDMI cable, some hdmi cables can't support the full bandwidth that the full rgb provides. But I'm assuming you're using the cable provided with the projector?

Re: Print Failures since Contour 1.4 upgrade
Hi Emil,
The intensity remains the same and trying a new HDMI cable didn't make any difference. I tried swapping HDMI cables the other day as well.
I also tried a VGA cable. The Intel graphics program didn't recognize the projector with that. This is the HDMI cable I set up the projector with and has always worked fine until Win 10 updates and the Solus 1.4 update.

Can you please take two photos for me, just like the photo on the previous page where you have lid closed with the projected background.
One with the HDMI connected and one with it disconnected.

- project black, unplugged HDMI-the bright light in the bottom right corner is the logo coming on from unplugging the HDMI. It comes on briefly and goes out when the HDMI is plugged back in.

Check your projector settings. Contrast, brightness, eco mode, gamma. Per the instructions. It's possible they were reset somehow.

Re: Print Failures since Contour 1.4 upgrade
I've done that once, but I'll check it again to make sure. At the same time is there a setting in the Infocus menu to activate HDMI 2 on the back of the projector. I'm on HDMI 1, but just to rule out a bad socket I thought I'd try the other port.
Re: Print Failures since Contour 1.4 upgrade
Well now I'm really perplexed. In checking the projector settings again, I have no values this time in the image tab and I can't scroll down. Settings 1 and Setting 2 look fine. I even went back to default settings and reset everything in settings 1 and 2, but I still have no values in the Image tab. Has my projector gone bad? Those values were there when I checked this the first time after the print failures.
