Guide To SolusCast?

Is there any thing I should know about soluscast other than the auto profiles? I tried a print with three rings and got undesirable results then changed vat & profile to Emerald and it came out like I'd suspect. Any ideas ?

Would help to see your print so we can offer advice. You may need to move the up Light Intensity slider, if your projector bulb is too old for example.

Here are some pics. They didn't turn out sharp. The eternity has slice through it ( other tries collapsed) and there are excess print lines with on big one. It may be multiple issues, but I did print the exact same print with success immediately after in Emerald. Thanks. If I was to turn up light intensity how much should I try?

Re: Guide To SolusCast?
Did you select the SolusCast resin profile when printing?
The bottom of that ring is not supported properly. A few flimsy supports will cause the ring to wobble when printing and give you such lines. Go to manual support mode, click on Ring Support, and click on the ring. It will put a solid ring support on the bottom.

Ok will do. and what about the other eternity band with a bunch of supports?
Re: Guide To SolusCast?
The eternity band looks like you had a layer failure and it didn't get picked up again until you got to the top part of the band.
My first guesses might be debris interference during the print or the exposure needs to be slightly adjusted higher.

Wow I cant believe it's been a month since I posted! Time flies when babies take your sleep away I guess. I want to thank everyone that contributes to this topic for your help and hate to only post when something is wrong because I love the machine. I'm still having issues SolusCast. A lot of the failures have been just the base of the rings starting then that's it. Others have been like the pic attached. I've tried 30 & 25 z in the preset. I've tried increasing the light to 4 & 5, new film, new soluscast. I just can't figure it out. When I go back to the emerald everything works great.

Just tried a simple cube test with six spaced evenly and got a complete fail. Nothing stuck to the platform.

Re: Guide To SolusCast?
SolusCast is a very high resolution resin. It means that it blocks light really well. How many hours do you have on your projector bulb? Seems like it's been almost 2 years since you purchased.
