Calibrating the build platform

Postby Dovydas » Sat Sep 09, 2017 7:32 pm

Video below does not really show how to end built table calibration process.

https://reify3d.wistia.com/medias/j9n1qcpjo8

At the very end when all corners where snug tight, I end up lifting platform up by +1 then removing build platform then moving by -1 down and then presses move to home position. Could somebody confirm if this is is a right way ?

Thanks.

Please watch it again and pay attention. He NEVER removes the platform while checking the corners. After pressing down and tighten all 4 screws you then raise by +1 put paper in a corner, lower by -1. Check to see if paper is snug against quartz table. Do this to all corners. If one is loose, then loosen that corner screw and press down on platform and tighten. Check all corners again. When you have done this, then raise by +10 remove platform, run home again. You should now be ready to print if you have focused the grid pattern.

Thank you.

So after checking all 4 corners

1. raise platform by +10
2. remove platform.
3. Run homing
