Re: Solus Contour Grows

The projector is the problem IMO. How many hours on the bulb? But my guess is it's not the bulb but something internal. Contact Emil.

Bite the bullet and get the New Solus Pro machine.

Re: CAST HELP ASAP PLS!!!!!!!! NEW TO CASTING

Try a different resin. Solus Wax Pro cast great. Looks like interaction with the investment. Do you go to 1400 degrees and hold that for at least 3 hours.

Re: Solus Contour Pro

How close are you zoomed in using Contour software? If you are zoomed in it will not show the supports. Did your computer do a windows update? Mine wanted to update a week or so ago. Might have changed the graphics drivers. It does sound like a graphics problem.

Re: Warped print/how to support this?

increase you touch point size. Maybe add them manual. One on each side of ring up to oval area. 2mm wide support with .6 to .8 touch points.

Re: Z Motor Problem

I would check that the switch is ok. One time the board cracked and switch would not work correctly. Also make sure the plugs are seated correctly and you didn't mix up where they plug into the board.

Re: So what is up with SolusWax Pro?

I know it's not recommended but I leave my vat on the printer with the resin in it. I cover it with a piece of cardboard and on top of the cardboard are some packets of silica gel absorbent. I just stir it up with the spatula and start printing.

Re: Disappearing supports!

I believe if you add something to a Scene it moves the objects to make room. This will cause the supports to be cleared/removed. You will need to add supports normally.

Matrix Ver9 Might also be in MatrixGold Some of the newer cad programs have this now. I'm sure there is also plug-in for rhino.

Re: Convert a .solus to a .stl

Just put the supports in when you finish the model. M9 has the ability to do 3d printing supports. There is other software out there that will do the same.
