Hard to say. In the past, when I saw brown it was due to incomplete combustion of the resin, like a residue, not necessarily ash, but other byproducts like nitrogen dioxide or something. Where was your print located on the main sprue? Is the burnt side on the outside of the flask or more towards the interior?

You would need the distance from the bulb to the surface, along with the overall area to do a rough estimate of the mW/cm^2. This can give you an idea of how to calculate it. The projector however uses a reflector, so that alters the calculation since it bounces back some of the indirect light back ...

Is the back of the scarf pin hollowed out? Maybe it is shrinkage of the resin due to the geometry?

I wonder if you print it on its back with elevated supports versus at an angle, would it do the same thing?

that was my fist time growing and casting it , I did a 45 min. boil in water anniel , a 10 min. uv cure , 2 hours sit time with optima and a straight ramp to 1500 f for a total time in the oven of 6 hours , down to cast temp and this is my results , will try different thing next time , I wanted to ...
